Vietnamese Cookbook
Ăn Chưa?
Every time I come home, my parents will ask “Ăn Chưa?”, meaning “Did you eat, yet?” Before I can answer, there is already food on the table for me. When I visit my in-laws and my friend’s home, I’ll be greeted the same way. Food is a love language. The dishes in this book will make you feel at home, whether its nourishing your loved ones or yourself.

“This piece of work is for my nieces, nephews and the next generation to keep in their hearts as they grow older. It’s to honor my parents and in-laws who inspire me. It’s to recognize refugees, and immigrants with similar but different stories. It’s for those who love Vietnamese food and the people behind it.”

Is the book in English?
YES, the entire cookbook is in English, but the title is in Vietnamese which I am very proud of. Although a bit risky, food is universal and speaks to all cultures. I’m proud that my publisher supported this decision to go ALL IN for a Vietnamese title! It shows today’s progress in supporting diversity.
It’s an opportunity for learning and educating across cultures. After all, if people are looking for a Vietnamese cookbook and love Vietnamese food, why not learn a tidbit about Vietnamese culture and the people behind the food as well! 🙂
Will there be a hardcover?
The cookbook is a paperback, but there are color photos for all the recipes!
When will the book be available?
The book is available for pre-order NOW! This really helps the book’s success as it helps show interest to the publisher and distributors who carry the book. This will also help it from getting discontinued. The official ship our release date is October 17, 2023.
Will there be a book tour?
Sorry to delay the schedule. My first and only book event so far is being held at Fattymart LA on Jan. 27 from 4-6pm. It is free, you get to sample 5 dishes from the book, get some free bookmarks, and live Q&A. Hope to see you all there!!!
How can I get a signed copy?
Please message me on instagram! Signed and personalized copies are $30 for US only, Shipments are once every 2 weeks because I only am able to make periodic trips to USPS due to my schedule. I can take venmo, paypal or chase payments. THANK YOU!
